Our Values

Our values are shaped by our commitment to young people and our lived experiences. We know that disadvantage is often framed in financial terms, therefore our values have the duel aim of not only raising the parity of esteem of the people we support alongside illustrate how we work with partners. Our values are more than words in a strategic plan, they are things we live by and know are essential to supporting young people.

Empathy

Being considerate to others needs. Empowering young people to understand their impact on others and consider other peoples needs. For D2R to work in ways that is responsive to individual needs, that recognises young people’s journeys are unique to them.

04

Resilience

Inspired to act. To constantly work towards giving young people confidence, skills & opportunities to make them resilient and independent. Ensuring that they are better able to overcome or bounce back from shock. To have the courage to take opportunities that break cycles of disadvantage and marginalisation.
